Imperfect Hosts sources quoted Lead singer “tongue davis” as saying that the name no longer “fits” the band. The band which has continuously performed in local clubs for 62 years says the name conjures up images of “old world lizards” – “that is just not us”. The band has always been known for an unusual light show which makes the members appear as if they were “changing colors”.
